new techniques in nuclear medicine for tumor detection [persian]
Authors
abstract
widespread studies on tumor diagnosis has led to the development of techniques with greater sensitivity and improved specificity for detection of occult and small subclinical tumors. tumor imaging by radiolabeling of tumor-specific antibodies (immunoscintigraphy) or tissue specific biochemical agents (receptor imaging) and especially physiologic imaging with positron emitters (pet), have opened a new era in nuclear medicine. in this paper the latest developments in tumor imaging are reviewed.

full textWhole body phantoms for the determination of dosimetry parameters needs for patients in nuclear medicine [Persian]
This study aims to give data concrning phantom material made in Iran i'rom a natural rubber which is used for obtaining calibration data for patient dose measurements in nuclear medicine applications of radionuclides for therapy and diagnosis. Is showed to be a tissue equivalent material cheap (25000 Rials the material itself and 35000 Rials the process of casting and moulding etc.), easi...
full textPatient dose calculation software in nuclear medicine [Persian]
Introduction: Radioactive materials deliver internal radiation dose to patients in nuclear medicine. Manual internal radiation dose assessment is a complicated method. Introduction of a simple dose calculation software is the main goal of the present study. Methods: Using the best current data in internal dose calculation (S-Factors) recommended by ICRP and by cons...
full textThe new direction of nuclear medicine
The role of the nuclear medicine has changed, from the early days when it was the only alternative to x-rays, to the present, when nuclear images are interpreted in light of specific metabolic processes, not anatomy. The development of specific receptor targeting radiopharmaceuticals, markers of viability using PETor SPECT, analogues of neurotransmitters etc., have placed the nuclear medi...
full textA New Dictionary Construction Method in Sparse Representation Techniques for Target Detection in Hyperspectral Imagery
Hyperspectral data in Remote Sensing which have been gathered with efficient spectral resolution (about 10 nanometer) contain a plethora of spectral bands (roughly 200 bands). Since precious information about the spectral features of target materials can be extracted from these data, they have been used exclusively in hyperspectral target detection. One of the problem associated with the detect...
full textOphthalmology in Persian medicine
Despite the fact that ophthalmology is one of the foremost branches of medicine, conceptualization of the structure and function of the eye barely advanced in ancient Western civilizations. At the early recovery of Persian civilization (9(th) century AD) after the extinction of the Sassanid Empire (7(th) century AD), translations of Greek medical textbooks played an important role in the develo...
